Khao Sok National Park, Thailand

I thought since we were passing through the center on the way in between the coasts that we would stop and check out the rainforest here. Well, it rained. We walked around a bit and discovered leeches. Not exactly all that I had hoped it would be. But a $4 back massage totally made up for it... sort of. I did get to see one of those odd legless salamanders, in the picture below. They are amphibians without legs, sorry the picture is out of focus, it was quite dark and hard to point properly.

Details:
Getting from Railay to Khao Sok was as easy as everywhere else here. Just go to a travel guy and it cost us $12 for everything. We stayed at Treetop Bungalows, the place they drop you off at ($15 for the two person room). It was raining hard when we arrived so we didn't want to walk far and the other main place, Jungle Huts, was a bit further up the road. You can do a lake tour and an elephant walk and other things, but it wasn't great weather for any of it, so we just left quickly.
